DJ CLYDE a commencé à dj en 1985 sous l’impulsion de RADIO 7 (première radio à jouer du hip hop en France) et des FREE JAMS du “Hall of Fame” de « la Chapelle » organisée par DJ DEE NASTY.Pionnier des mix tapes en France avec DJ CUT KILLER en 1992.
Créateur avec DJ ASKO du légendaire HYPNOTYK SHOW sur RADIO NOVA de 1995 à 1998, très apprécié notamment pour ces nombreuses apparitions en Freestyle de rappeurs américains tels que COMMON, METHOD MAN, GZA, ODB, BUDDAH MONK, SADAT X & ALAMO, COMPANY FLOW, etc.…
Il a joué dans différents clubs avec quelques un des plus grands DJs New Yorkais comme DJ CHUCK CHILLOUT, DJ ENUFF, STRETCH ARMSTRONG…
Disque d’or en 1996 avec l’album de SUPREME NTM « Paris sous les bombes »pour lequel il a composé de nombreux morceaux en collaboration avec DJ MAX dont les tubes « Tout n’est pas si facile », « La fièvre », et a fait tous les scratches. Un album qui est par la suite devenue un classique du rap français de par son caractère intemporel et sa diversité musicale.Autres crédits au niveau de la production : RAGGASONIC, AFRO JAZZ, PRINCESS ERIKA, CHINA MOSES, etc.…
Depuis les dix dernières années, il s’est beaucoup plus investit dans la scène underground du Reggae culturel à Paris et aux Antilles françaises avec la création de nombreuses mix tapes (JAH KINGDOM, ELEVASION) ainsi que des participations à divers Sound Systems.De retour sur le devant de la scène en 2008, restez en connexion…
